2008 Fall Fair

Mark your calendars for the SWE PTO Fall Fair. This Fall Fair is the PTO’s largest fundraiser each year. There are few causes as worthy as our children’s’ education. SWE is poised to set the stage for developing the leaders of tomorrow. Your support of our annual Fall Fair will directly fund:
 Field Trips
 Convocations
 Fluoride Mouth Rinse Program
 Art Club
 Drama Club
 Vocal Fund
 Band Fund
 Classroom Needs for every teacher
 Christmas and Spring Programs
 PTO Grants to Student Run Organizations

We earn money to support the above items from the raffle ticket sales, the Chili Supper, game ticket sales and from the Silent Auction. Please invite your extended family and friends to join you at SWE’ Fall Fair for a evening of great fun. Please review the upcoming list of Silent Auction items while keeping in mind upcoming Christmas gifts, teacher presents and even a gift for your special Valentine.

Raffle Ticket Sales

Raffle tickets can be sold by students and parents during the weeks prior to the Fall Fair. The class selling the most Raffle Tickets will be awarded a pizza party provided by xxxxx. The top selling students will receive:
 1st to be determined
 2nd to be determined
 3rd to be determined

Raffle tickets will still be available for purchase during the Fall Fair at the Ticket Table until 7:00 p.m. At 7:30 p.m., winners will be drawn for the following prizes:
 $200
 $75
 $50

Silent Auction

Chili Supper

Advance Meal Chili Supper Ticket forms will be sent home in October.  All advance meal tickets are $4.00, at the door meals will cost $5.00. Desserts are included for only as long as they last.
• Meal 1 Chili, peanut butter sandwich, dessert, drink
• Meal 2 Hotdog or Cheesedog, Nachos or chips, dessert, drink
• Meal 3 One slice Pizza (Hope Pizza King), Nachos or chips, dessert, drink

Please return this form and your payment in an envelope with your child for later than Monday, October XX. Advance Meal and Game tickets will be sent home with your oldest student in a white envelope.
If you are able to donate Cookies, brownies or pie for Chili Supper Dessert, board@southwesternpto.org so the PTO can plan accordingly. Thanks! Desserts for chili supper can be dropped of during school hours or between 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19. Please only provide the above listed desserts. Cash donations are also being accepted to help pay for the Chili Supper Supplies.  Please make your check payable to SWES PTO with a notation for Chili Supper and send it into school with your child.

Game Tickets
Advance Game tickets are 5 for a $1.00 (.20¢), at the door game tickets will be 4 for a $1.00 (.25¢).  After playing games, children win tokens to earn prizes in the Prize room.
 
A sheet will be sent home in October for parents to advance order meals and game tickets.
  
Cake Walk
The cake walk needs your help.  Last year we had some of the most awesome creations brought in for the cake walk.  Let's get those creative juices flowing and create some masterpieces.  For some fun cake ideas, check out this website's cake ideas FamilyFun.
 
If you are able to donate a cake, please contact us at board@southwesternpto.org so the PTO can plan accordingly. Thanks!  Please drop off cakes during school hours on Friday, October 19 of Fall Fair or between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. that evening or during the day on Saturday.
